When it comes to homes evoking mid-century modernism, Palm Springs has a fantastic trove to choose from. But the city has its eyes on one more — in New York — and will throw a party to further rally funds to bring it west.
“An Evening for Aluminaire” at the Palm Springs Visitors Center on Sunday — hosted by none other than Mayor Steve Pougnet himself — will be surely the most prominent fundraiser for the Aluminaire House project, which is raising money to get the Albert Frey-designed exhibition home relocated to Palm Springs.
